“It’s difficult to find the best form when not playing very often, but I knew that would be an issue. What matters now is doing our best for the team,” Biglia told Sky Sport Italia.
The squad was placed into a five-day training retreat after Gennaro Gattuso saw the wrong attitude in many of the players.
“We have to take responsibility and can’t leave all the weight of that on the shoulders of the Coach, we know that, and the training retreat was helpful for that.
“It was deserved, we know that we got it wrong and had to make up for that. It was good for everyone to have that time together.
“Now we hope to bring that anger with us on to the field.”
