'Insigne has Napoli agreement'

Lorenzo Insigne’s brother claims the forward has ‘found an agreement’ with Napoli over a new contract.

Insigne appeared to be edging away from Napoli after a season marred by alleged strains in his relationships with fans and Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

However, recent talks with Ancelotti, President Aurelio De Laurentis and agent Mino Raiola seem to have been successful in keeping him at the San Paolo.

“We’re happy. Lorenzo is back, even if he is a bit down about the whistles,” Roberto, who is currently on loan at Benevento from the Partenopei, told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“He’s also found an agreement with Napoli and for this, we’re all happy.”

The 27-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a deal that takes him through to 2024, worth €5m a season plus bonuses.
