Ukraine boss and former Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko has confessed that he would ‘like’ to coach the Rossoneri one day.

Shevchenko is one of Milan’s all-time top goalscorers, and he revealed he could follow several of his former teammates in eventually taking over at San Siro.

“Milan are a club that’s a part of my life,” he told DAZN.

“However, I’m busy with the Ukrainian national team right now and Gattuso is already doing a great job.

“Certainly I’d like to coach Milan one day because I’m very attached to them, the fans and my former teammates.

“Maybe it’ll be my turn to coach Milan one day.”

The Diavolo are currently managed by Gennaro Gattuso, who was preceded by the likes of Leonardo, Clarence Seedorf, Filippo Inzaghi and Cristian Brocchi.
