Ljajic to make Serie A return?

Besiktas forward Adem Ljajic could reportedly return to Serie A with Bologna this summer.

According to Corriere della Sport, Bologna boss Sinisa Mihajlovic would like to work with Ljajic again.

The Serb has spent the majority of his career in Italy with Fiorentina, Roma, Inter and Torino, only joining Besiktas last summer.

He has put a slow start to his spell in Istanbul behind him, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists in 29 appearances this season.

However, the newspaper warns he will not come cheap as a result of his recent transfer and good form.

Nonetheless, Il Corriere explains the Rossoblu are prepared to build a squad ‘capable of fighting for Europe’ to keep Mihajlovic, whose contract expires next month.

They would be prepared to spend €23m to keep Nicola Sansone, Roberto Sansone and Riccardo Orsolini, although Juventus can buy the winger back for €14m.

Elsewhere, Bologna could replace Torino loanee Lyanco with Sampdoria’s Lorenzo Tonelli, while Rodrigo Palacio should have his contract extended by a further season.
