Jean-Clear Todibo’s agent claims Napoli ‘like’ the Barcelona defender but that a transfer is difficult because ‘he wouldn’t be assured of 30 games’.
Todibo only joined Barca from Toulouse in January but is set to be loaned out next season after just two League appearances for the Catalans.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, Bruno Satin confirmed Napoli could be a destination – as long as they provided the teenager regular first-team football.
“I had a chat with Barcelona last week,” explained the agent
“Nothing’s been decided about his future, but he’ll either stay where he is or go out on loan to play 30 games.
“It’s difficult, therefore, to see him join Napoli on loan because for them, he wouldn’t be assured of playing 30 games.
“[Napoli sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli and I talk to each other every week. He always jokes about me loaning him [Todibo].
“He likes [Todibo] because he has so much quality, but it seems difficult. I can’t introduce myself to Ancelotti and tell him that Todibo must play 30 games.
“It would be a lack of respect for the club and for the rest of the squad.”
Satin has close ties with Napoli, given he represents Kalidou Koulibaly and Kevin Malcuit.
