Antonio Conte will reportedly put pen to paper with Inter once he is certain Juventus will not come in for him.
According to Corriere dello Sport, everything is in place for Conte to replace Luciano Spalletti as Inter’s Coach.
However, the newspaper claims the 49-year-old would have been tempted by offers from Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Juve – none of which arrived.
Nonetheless, he would be waiting for Wednesday’s meeting between Bianconeri boss Max Allegri and President Andrea Agnelli in case there is a ‘late twist’.
In the meantime, Il Corriere assures the former Italy CT has agreed a ‘long-term’ contract with the Nerazzurri, worth ‘at least €8-9m’ a season.
