Atalanta have scored 99 goals in all competition this season and could hit the Century in tonight’s Coppa Italia Final against Lazio.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
This is a one-off match and if there are no winners after 90 minutes, it’ll go to extra time or even penalties.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are already the top scorers in Serie A so far this season with 73 goals, leaving Scudetto winners Juventus behind on 69.
It is easy to forget that their campaign began all the way back on July 26, a 2-2 draw with FK Sarajevo in the Europa League preliminary round.
They won the second leg of that tie 8-0 away from home on August 2.
In six Europa League preliminary round matches, Atalanta scored 16 goals, but the double 0-0 against FC Copenhagen – having absolutely dominated both games – saw them go out on penalties at the final hurdle.
As for the Coppa Italia, the Orobici won three and drew the first leg of the semi-final 3-3 with Fiorentina, eliminating Cagliari and holders Juventus along the way.
In the process, they scored 10 goals in four games.
That all means Atalanta have 99 goals in 46 matches this season and by the time it is over, they will have played 49 competitive fixtures.
