“We expect the playoffs to be suspended by tomorrow’s Federal Council,” President Alessandro Albanese told reporters.

“After that, we’ll wait for the verdict of the second-level judgment, which will be almost final: we remain confident, despite everything.
"We’ve said so much about this issue. We’re proposing an appeal for a precautionary suspension of the playoffs.
“Our appeal will be filed today, and then we’ll wait for the verdict.”
As it stands, the Rosanero have been replaced in the playoffs – which are due to begin on Friday – by Alessandro Nesta’s Perugia.
