Torino striker Andrea Belotti might have played himself back into Italy contention after a recent run of good form.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Italy CT Roberto Mancini is considering recalling Belotti for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifying games with Bosnia and Greece.
The striker role for the Azzurri has been a problem position for a while now as Juventus’ Moise Kean, despite scoring twice in his last two international matches, is not a guaranteed starter for the Bianconeri.
Mario Balotelli has netted eight times for Olympique Marseille but has not played for the national team since September 2018 due to question marks over his temperament.
Ciro Immobile has drawn a blank in each of his last six games for Lazio but will get the chance to impress Mancini, who will attend the Coppa Italia Final between the Aquile and Atalanta this evening.
‘Il Gallo’, meanwhile, has scored 17 goals in 37 matches for Torino this season and captained the Granata into Serie A’s European mix.
