Mauro Icardi and five other Serie A-based players are in Argentina’s 32-man preliminary squad for this summer’s Copa America.
Coach Lionel Scaloni announced the initial 32-man list for the competition that begins on June 14 in Brazil.
The Nerazzurri striker wasn’t named in the last squad for the friendly games with Venezuela and Morocco in March, but has been recalled, alongside his Inter teammate Lautaro Martinez.
The other Serie A representatives are Udinese’s Juan Musso and Rodrigo De Paul, Fiorentina defender German Pezzella and Juventus No.10 Paulo Dybala.
