Giorgio Chiellini says ‘all of Juventus will miss’ Max Allegri and does not rule out the Coach coming back one day.

Allegri led Juve to five straight Scudetti and two Champions League Finals during his five-year tenure, and Chiellini paid tribute to the outgoing Coach.

“I’ll see him sometimes in Livorno or hear from him,” the defender told reporters.

“He knows how to defuse things, he’s given us so much and he’ll be remembered.

“We’re at an end of an era with him and we must thank him. After that, Juventus will go on as usual.

“He has some incredible qualities, he’s been a real positive and all of Juventus will miss him. Maybe he could come back in the future.

“I hope Andrea [Barzagli] stays on with the technical staff. He’s a special person, as well as an exceptional player.

“I’ll certainly miss him so much, I had the honour of spending eight fantastic years with him.

“He’s a person I can still learn so much from, let alone the young people who will come in.”

The 34-year-old then cracked a joke about Maurizio Sarri, who is being linked with replacing the former Milan boss.

“Sarri who? Did you say Sacchi?”
