Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero has declared that ‘there won’t be a second meeting’ with American investors because ‘the deal ends here’.

Ferrero flew out to New York at the start of the week to discuss Gianluca Vialli’s takeover bid with five of his collaborators.

However, it is reported the film producer received an offer of only €50m plus €30m to clear the club’s debt, despite him valuing the Blucerchiati at €130m.
