Coach Gigi Di Biagio has named the 26-man long-list as Italy prepare to host the European Under-21 Championship, including Alex Meret, Sandro Tonali and Patrick Cutrone.
The tournament will be held in Italy and San Marino, with the Azzurrini in Group A with Spain, Poland and Belgium.
This list is for the players who will attend the training camp from May 29 to June 8 at Formello in Rome.
By midnight on June 6, Di Biagio must name the final 23-man squad, who will then begin formal training in Bologna on June 10.
There are several eligible stars who have been left out of this list, as Italy will play Euro 2020 qualifiers against Greece and Italy on June 8 and 11.
