Max Allegri and Jose Mourinho can wipe Paris Saint-Germain off the list of potential new clubs, as Thomas Tuchel extended his contract to June 2021.
The Coach had been widely criticised and it was expected he’d be fired this summer after an early Champions League exit and dismal end to the Ligue 1 season.
However, today PSG announced they had extended his contract to June 2021.
Paris had been a viable option for ex-Juventus boss Allegri and former Manchester United chief Mourinho.
Tuchel had been quietly mocking the media last night in his post-match interviews when asked about his future.
“Honestly, I’m quite worried that I keep getting asked these questions. It feels like everyone knows something that I don’t,” said Tuchel with tongue firmly in cheek.
“Do you have information? Should I be worried? I know anything can happen in football…”
