Multiple sources maintain Maurizio Sarri is likely to join Juventus and Fali Ramadani will help negotiate his release from Chelsea.

After Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola stated their desire to remain with Tottenham and Manchester City respectively, former Napoli Coach Sarri became the hot favourite to replace Max Allegri.

Tuttosport claim today that there are concerns Chelsea and specifically Roman Abramovich’s right hand woman Marina Granovskaia could try to make it difficult for him to leave after just one season.

The Turin-based paper maintains Chelsea could ask Juventus to include Jorginho as part of a double deal for Sarri, much the same way they did with Napoli.

However, Sportitalia suggest Juve anticipated this and are using agent Fali Ramadani to help ensure a smooth and orderly transition.

After all, Ramadani already played a key role in the tense negotiations for Sarri’s contract termination with Napoli last summer.

It’d be far easier to convince Chelsea to part with the Italian, who has always tried to avoid confrontation with the club hierarchy, especially with a small compensation payment of around €5m.

Meanwhile, Sport Mediaset maintain Sarri is asking for almost double the current salary he earns at Stamford Bridge.

He had picked up a measly €1.4m per year at Napoli and more than doubled that to €3.5m with Chelsea, but the demand from Juve is believed to be €6m.

Any decision will have to wait until after Chelsea have played the Europa League Final against Arsenal in Baku on Wednesday.
