“Of course, we’re not happy, but we are satisfied that we gave it our best shot and went down fighting,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We did what we wanted to do, we stayed in the game until the end while still trying to play our style of football. I’m very happy with the way we played in the last 15 minutes, we created several goal scoring chances.

“We were unlucky to reach the decisive moment of the season with so many injuries, however, the team never gave up, and the players have always had the right attitude.

“At the end of the game, I thanked the boys. In the first half, we suffered from the tension of the occasion and then in the second we were hampered by a few incidents.

“I don’t want to talk about my future right now, all I can say is that I am under contract, but I suppose that means nothing.”
