Sky Sport Italia is reporting the idea of Bologna’s Sinisa Mihajlovic becoming the next Roma Coach is ‘taking shape’.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma consider Mihajlovic as one of the best-qualified candidates for their top job.
Furthermore, he has the full backing of incoming sporting director Gianluca Petrachi, who worked with the Serb at Torino.
The 50-year-old is in high demand after guiding Bologna to safety and spent two seasons with the Giallorossi as a player.
However, he later described his time at the club as ‘the worst of my entire career’ and went on to win a Scudetto with their arch-rivals Lazio.
