Eusebio Di Francesco laughed off suggestions Daniele De Rossi wanted him out and defended his training techniques at Roma.
The club was thrown back into turmoil after a newspaper article claimed there was a player revolt against Coach Di Francesco, something that President James Pallotta denied.
“My working methods are the same as last season, the ones that brought us into the Champions League semi-finals,” Di Francesco told the Corriere dello Sport.
“The so-called Senators of the squad were out there with the Roma jersey, starting from De Rossi, who always gave me his commitment to play even on one leg.”
The tactician was fired after their Champions League Round of 16 exit to FC Porto in February, with Claudio Ranieri brought in as caretaker manager.
