Atalanta right-back Timothy Castagne’s agent believes he will “remain in Bergamo” next season, despite being linked with a move to Napoli.
The 23-year-old Belgian had been rumoured to be joining the Partenopei in recent days, while at the same time being of interest of both Roma and Milan.
“I believe Castagne will be with Atalanta next season,” his representative Ulisse Savini told Cittaceleste.it.
“The lad feels good in Bergamo and is looking forward to playing in the Champions League.”
Castagne joined the Orobici in the summer of 2017 for €6m and has one year left on his current contract.
The full-back scored four times in 28 Serie A games this season, while also scoring in his side's 3-0 win against Juventus in the Coppa Italia.
The Belgium international was close to signing with Celtic in January, but the move collapsed due to the Scottish Champions not meeting the €12m price tag.
