Roma are cheering on Liverpool in tonight’s Champions League Final against Tottenham Hotspur, as they could earn them €5m.
According to Il Romanista, part of the deals that took Mohamed Salah and Alisson to Liverpool included bonuses if they were to win the Champions League.
The details have not been confirmed, but it’s believed they could be worth up to a combined €5m in extra revenue for the Giallorossi.
They already came close last season, when Liverpool beat Roma in the semi-final only to lose the Final to Real Madrid.
The cost of the Salah operation was €42m plus performance-related bonuses up to a maximum of €8m.
Alisson was even more expensive, the goalkeeper moving for €62.5m plus up to €10m in bonuses.
