Inter target Nicolo Barella has confirmed that he could leave Cagliari this summer. “The market is open for me.”
Corriere dello Sport claimed on Tuesday that Barella had agreed personal terms with Inter, and the midfielder admits ‘it may be’ the case that he moves on from Cagliari.
“It’s nice, but I don’t think about it,” he told reporters from Italy’s Coverciano base.
“The market is open for me. It may be that I leave, but for now I’m focused on the national team.
“I’ve put my phone on silent. This is our job and we need to stay focused. My line of thinking is shared by me, Chiesa, Kean, Zaniolo and many others.
“We’re not thinking about the market. It may be that we’ll be on the move as it’s all open, but we’re only think about playing.
“I said goodbye to my teammates like all the other years when I was extra-certain of staying at Cagliari. I live everything calmly.”
