Sinisa Mihajlovic is reportedly ready to sign a new three-year contract with Bologna, despite interest from Roma.
The 50-year-old Coach replaced Pippo Inzaghi on January 28 and steered Bologna from the depths of the relegation zone to a 10th-place finish, including seven consecutive home victories.
He wanted guarantees the team would be competitive next term and Sky Sport Italia report he was impressed by today’s meeting with club chiefs.
Mihajlovic has taken a day or two to consider the offer of a three-year contract, but in any case is expected to remain at Bologna for next season.
The Serbian had been linked with the Roma job, but his fractious rapport with Giallorossi fans and time spent on the Lazio bench made it unlikely.
