Gianluca Petrachi remains no closer to a resolution with Torino as it is revealed he is working for Roma while still being contracted to the Granata.
Corriere dello Sport reports Petrachi is at work to rebuild Roma ‘almost in secret’, having already made several trips to the capital ‘in incognito’.
The sporting director would have even met prospective new Giallorossi boss Paulo Fonseca on Tuesday, yet he is still tied to Torino.
That is because Toro owner Urbano Cairo did not accept his resignation as he does not intend to release him without compensation.
Petrachi’s contract has one more year left to run, although the newspaper writes Cairo will not be able to block his move, even if he has to take the 50-year-old and Roma to court.
