The 31-year-old Brazilian is one of those players linked with making the switch to Serie A, and his agent left the door open when he spoke today.

“I can say that we currently don’t have any negotiations in progress,” he told RomaPress.net.

“Taison is happy at Shakhtar, but nothing can be excluded. He has great admiration for the work of Paulo Fonseca, and they are good friends.”

The left-winger scored six times and provided 15 assists in 35 appearances between league and cup competitions for the Ukrainian side this season.
