Roma striker Patrik Schick admits he is completely in the dark about where he will play his football next season.

Schick became Roma’s record signing in the summer of 2017 as they committed to paying Sampdoria €42m to sign him.

However, the Czech has scored just eight goals in two seasons and was recently linked with a swap deal involving Milan’s Andre Silva.

“It’s been a very demanding season, one of ups and downs,” he told sport.cz.

However, the Czech has scored just eight goals in two seasons and was recently linked with a swap deal involving Milan’s Andre Silva.

“It’s been a very demanding season, one of ups and downs,” he told sport.cz.

“Unfortunately, it wasn’t the perfect campaign. I don’t know anything about a swap with Milan. A lot is written in Italy.

“I can’t answer questions about my future right now. I don’t know which Coach will come in or what will happen.

“Once that becomes clear I can think more specifically about the future, but it’s not in my nature to leave things halfway.

“What the club and Coach want to do with the team will be crucial. I haven’t talked to any of the directors.

“We broke up after Daniele De Rossi’s send-off. He was rather sad. After all, he spent his entire career at Roma and is a club legend.

“He wanted to play regularly, so he left. There will certainly be a great personality [missing] in the dressing room.”

The 23-year-old was then asked about the differences between his Giallorossi Coaches Eusebio Di Francesco and Claudio Ranieri.

“Di Francesco and Ranieri were two different types of Coaches. Di Francesco was more tactical, while Ranieri, who came from England, was less tactical and focused more on running.

“They both gave me something. I like training to be more intense, but neither Coach was better or worse than the other.”
