Roma have reportedly agreed a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca to become their new Coach.
Sportitalia talks of the much-vaunted ‘white smoke’ between Roma and Shakhtar, explaining how the Giallorossi will pay ‘around €2m’ to release Fonseca.
The Coach, for his part, would have accepted a reduced salary of €2m to aid negotiations with the Lupi.
Sky Sport Italia and Il Messaggero have since picked up the story, both writing that the Portuguese will be in the capital on Monday.
Corriere dello Sport, meanwhile, writes left-back Ismaily was key to Roma reaching an agreement for Fonseca.
The 29-year-old has emerged as the favourite to replace Aleksandar Kolarov and would set back the capital club €10-15m.
