Reports in France suggest Olympique Marseille have asked Roma for Patrik Schick on loan with obligation to buy.
The striker has struggled for form and confidence at club level, yet scored a brace for the Czech Republic in their Euro 2020 qualifier against Bulgaria on Friday night.
That took him up to seven goals in 17 senior caps for his country, yet he has only eight goals in 58 competitive matches for Roma.
According to FootMercato, Marseille director of sport Andoni Zubizarreta has approached Roma to ask for Schick on loan with obligation to buy.
This would spread out the cost of the transfer over two years, but also allow the Giallorossi to remove his €4.6m per year salary.
Milan have also been linked with a bid for Schick, potentially in a swap deal with Andre Silva, as he would reunite with his old Sampdoria Coach Marco Giampaolo.
