Former Juventus midfielder Momo Sissoko believes “Maurizio Sarri can bring something extra” and they are “ready to win the Champions League.”
The 34-year-old is currently playing with Ligue 1 side Sochaux, but spent two and a half seasons with the Old Lady, playing 100 games while scoring three times.
“Time will tell if Juve deserve to win the Champions League,” Sissoko told TuttoJuve.com.
“I think they are ready to win it now, and next year we’ll see if they can do it, but I believe they can.
“Sarri could bring something extra, that style they have been lacking, but they will be ready to win the Champions League next year.”
The current Chelsea tactician has been heavily linked with replacing Max Allegri in the dugout at the Allianz Stadium, and could possibly announce his arrival as soon as next week.
