Colombia international James Rodriguez is open to joining Napoli and it’s reported Real Madrid could lower the €42m asking price.
The creative midfielder just returned to base after a two-season loan spell with Bayern Munich and has no room at the Bernabeu.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, James is the number one transfer target for the summer, as requested by Carlo Ancelotti.
The Coach already worked with him at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
It’s believed Real Madrid would be prepared to lower the €42m asking price, which was the option to buy that Bayern decided not to take up.
James would receive a five-year contract worth €6.5m per season.
