Sportitalia is reporting former Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco has agreed to take over at Sampdoria, while Riccardo Pecini and Daniele Prade will also return.
According to Sportitalia’s Michele Criscitello, there is ‘total agreement’ between Di Francesco and Samp.
It follows hot on the heels of confirmation from Sky Sport Italia that the Coach had held talks with the Blucerchiati on Monday.
Elsewhere, the Ligurians are set to bring back former chief scout Pecini from Empoli, plus ex-technical director Prade.
The 52-year-old has been working as Udinese’s sporting director, but he could be replaced at Friuli by Fiorentina’s Pantaleo Corvino, who in turn would be about to terminate his contract with the Viola.
