Milan are reportedly showing an interest in Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira and Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Milan will try to reunite incoming Coach Marco Giampaolo with Torreira, who played 50 times in his debut campaign for Arsenal, reaching the Europa League Final.

The pair worked together at Sampdoria and, while the website accepts the Uruguayan is not currently thinking about a return to Serie A, a move to San Siro could prove tempting if the Rossoneri manage to sell some players.

Gazzetta dello Sport and Sport Mediaset, meanwhile, claim the Diavolo could hijack Inter’s deal for Barella by offering Patrick Cutrone in exchange.

The starlet is said to have agreed terms with Inter, but they have yet to match Cagliari’s €50m asking price.

Instead, the Diavolo could offer €20m and Cutrone, who is valued at €30m and would be welcomed in Sardinia.
