Romelu Lukaku dropped several hints that he already knows his next club, as the Manchester United man is heading to Antonio Conte’s Inter.
The striker scored a brace in Belgium’s 3-0 victory over Scotland last night and spoke to Belgian television station VTM.
“I’m going to enjoy time with the family and relax. Then make the best decision for my career. Do I know anything yet? Yeah, I do…”
He also spoke to reporters in the mixed zone and reiterated the choice has been made.
“I have a contract with Manchester United, so I’ll talk to my agent, Federico Pastorello, to make the best decision. I expect a busy summer.”
Lukaku was asked if he liked Inter and replied with a big grin.
Conte had already wanted the big centre-forward at Chelsea and failing to land him was one of the reasons for the breakdown in the tactician’s rapport with the club.
