Udinese have officially appointed former Napoli and Atalanta man Pierpaolo Marino as their new sporting director.
Marino has signed a three-year contract with Udinese and replaces Daniele Prade, who stepped down on Tuesday.
“Pierpaolo is a friend, he knows Udinese well and has shown great professionalism and preparation throughout his career,” CEO Franco Collavino told the club’s official website.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome him back to the club. We’re sure that his considerable experience and specific expertise will be invaluable in building the team for next season.”
The 64-year-old previously worked for the Zebrette in the mid-2000s and also counts the likes of Roma and Pescara as his former clubs.
