Udinese have officially appointed former Napoli and Atalanta man Pierpaolo Marino as their new sporting director.

Marino has signed a three-year contract with Udinese and replaces Daniele Prade, who stepped down on Tuesday.

“Pierpaolo is a friend, he knows Udinese well and has shown great professionalism and preparation throughout his career,” CEO Franco Collavino told the club’s official website.

The 64-year-old previously worked for the Zebrette in the mid-2000s and also counts the likes of Roma and Pescara as his former clubs.
