Former Milan director Leonardo is expected to make his return to Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow, as Antero Henrique quits.
The moment the Brazilian resigned from his role at San Siro, he was rumoured to be heading back to previous club PSG.
Now multiple sources in both Italy and France suggest the contract will be signed on Friday.
According to RMC, current chief Antero Henrique has handed in his resignation and is eager to leave the post immediately.
This is a return for 49-year-old Leonardo, who was already in charge of PSG transfers from 2011 to 2013.
He had a very brief spell as Coach of Turkish club Antalyaspor and spent one season as Milan technical director.
