Milan have joined Juventus and Napoli in approaching Kostas Manolas, but Roma won’t budge for less than the €36m release clause.
The Greek international turns 28 on Friday and has a contract to June 2022, but the release clause is also valid for Italian clubs.
Sportitalia continue to maintain both Juve and Napoli have sent out feelers to see if Manolas would be prepared to make the move this summer.
Sky Sport Italia add that Milan also enquired, although they asked Roma if there could be a discount for the centre-back.
Roma have no intention of selling Manolas unless they are forced to do so with the release clause, the same situation that saw Miralem Pjanic join Juve.
