Cagliari have reportedly met the representatives of Napoli midfielder Marko Rog, who is seen as a potential replacement for Nicolo Barella.
According to Sky Sport Italia, there was a meeting today between Rossoblu sporting director Marcello Carli and the Croat’s agent.
The 23-year-old joined the Azzurri for €13m from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2016 and has scored twice in 67 games for the Neapolitans.
However, the majority of his appearances have come from the bench, while he played just five times for Sevilla during a recent loan spell.
Rog would replace Barella, who seems headed for Inter, despite the Nerazzurri still not having agreed a fee for the Cagliari starlet.
