Milan mayor Beppe Sala has warned the Rossoneri and Inter that building a new San Siro will be a ‘very expensive’ undertaking.
Inter and Milan have been working on a new stadium to replace San Siro but have yet to submit their final plans to the mayor’s office.
“Building a new stadium will be a very expensive undertaking, but I don’t want to influence anything,” Sala told reporters.

“I’m waiting to see the proposal from Inter and Milan. Hopefully it’ll arrive before the holidays. In my opinion, San Siro is a wonderful facility.”
The politician then discussed the fortunes of his beloved Beneamata.
“I really like Antonio Conte. Inter have a history of winning with tough Coaches like Giovanni Trapattoni and Jose Mourinho.
“Nicolo Barella’s a very good player and I hope he arrives this summer. Mauro Icardi will find it hard to win the fans back. Another year like this one won’t be tolerated.”
