Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira and his girlfriend are reportedly unhappy with life in England and Milan could possibly take advantage of the situation.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Uruguayan’s partner is from Genoa and would prefer to come back to Italy than to remain in London.
The situation has alerted the attention of Milan, but it would be difficult to convince the Gunners to sell.
The 23-year-old only joined the Premier League side last summer for €30m and they wouldn’t want to lose him so soon.
Torreira recently told the newspaper El Pais that he believed that he was “better off in Italy” while claiming the language barrier is a problem and the weather is always cloudy.
The youngster has spent most of his career in the Peninsula, coming through the Pescara youth team ranks and could be reunited with his Sampdoria Coach Marco Giampaolo if he was to join the Rossoneri.
