Roma reportedly want to build their new team around Nicolò Zaniolo and are unwilling to sell him for less than €70m.
According to transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Giallorossi want to start afresh under new Coach Paulo Fonseca and they see the teenager as the perfect player to build the team around.
The Sky Sport Italia journalist reports that the capital club will refuse all offers unless one arrives that is impossible to turn down, such as the bids offered for Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker in recent years.
Clubs known to be interested in Zaniolo are Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 19-year-old burst onto the scene this season, scoring six times in 36 games after he joined the Lupi as part of the deal that saw Radja Nainggolan reunite with Luciano Spalletti at Inter.
The attacking midfielder has won two caps for the senior Italian national team and will be taking part in this summer’s U21 European Championships, that is set to kick off in Italy and San Marino on Sunday.
