Sassuolo right-back Pol Lirola believes it is the “right time for him to change teams”, with Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Atalanta interested.
The youngster is on duty with the Spain U21 squad ahead of the European Championships, which are being held in Italy and San Marino this summer, and La Rojita will take on the Azzurrini on Sunday night.
“Sassuolo gave me a lot, they allowed me to grow,” said Lirola in the pre-match Press conference.
“I played 100 games between the league and the Europa League, but now it’s time to change teams.
“However, right now I’m focused on the European Championships and I will decide my future after they’re over.”
The 21-year-old joined the Neroverdi from Juventus in 2016, initially on loan, but last summer they paid €7m to sign him permanently from the Old Lady.
The former Espanyol youth team product joined the Bianconeri primavera in 2015, but failed to make a single appearance for the Juve first team.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the full-back this summer, if their move for Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj breaks down.
Atalanta and Napoli themselves have also been linked, with Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United targeting him in the past.
