Manchester United reportedly have no intention of selling Juventus target Paul Pogba this summer.

Pogba announced his desire to leave United for ‘a new challenge’ earlier on Sunday, but the Evening Standard claims he has been told he will remain a United player next season.

The newspaper explains Red Devils chief Ed Woodward is ‘determined’ to keep the his record signing and expects him to report back for preseason training next month.

On the other hand, it is warned his remarks came after the English side ‘refused to even entertain bids’ and that boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may not want to keep the midfielder if he is unhappy.

If United do end up letting the Frenchman leave, the Evening Standard expects them to demand a fee in the region of £130m (€145m).

As well as a return to Juve, the 26-year-old has been heavily linked with joining Zinedine Zidane’s new-look Real Madrid.
