Milan have reportedly made a €20m plus bonuses offer for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout, but the Viola are holding out for €25m upfront.
According to Sportitalia, the Rossoneri are hoping to close a deal for the former Aston Villa man, but will need to raise their bid to the €25m asking price.
The 26-year-old joined the Florentine club from Villa in 2017 for €7m and has scored 15 times in 75 appearances at the Stadio Artemio Franchi from a central midfield position.
Meanwhile, Roma are reported to be seriously interested in the midfielder, with Napoli also on the periphery.
The Diavolo were issued a hands-off warning by Arsenal for Lucas Torreira, and are also considering Sassuolo’s Stefano Sensi as midfield reinforcements ahead of next season.
