Napoli have reportedly agreed to pay €36m for Kostas Manolas, while Amadou Diawara could head to Roma in a separate deal.
According to Il Messaggero, Napoli are ‘on the verge’ of signing Manolas, who has already negotiated personal terms and reached an agreement on image rights.
The defender is set to be one of two players Roma sacrifice to make necessary capital gains by June 30 – the other being Edin Dzeko.
The newspaper adds Diawara could swap clubs with the 28-year-old, but in a move structured in a way so that it is only included in next year’s financial statement.
The Giallorossi would be in the process of trying to agree a fee with the Partenopei for the midfielder.
