Italy U21 Coach Gigi Di Biagio said the Azzurrini must “move the ball quicker” in tonight’s European Championship game with Poland.
“We’ll try to play good football over the course of 90 minutes,” the CT told Rai Sport just before kick-off.
“The thing we need to improve is having better geometry and moving the ball quicker, especially as it’s a very different opponent to Spain.”
Italy opened their campaign on Sunday by fighting back to beat Spain 3-1.
“The lads did something fantastic to react to going behind, but we have to set that aside and look forward to the next challenge.
“We can feel the crowd close to us at the Dall’Ara and hope to make them happy, just as they do with us.”
