Spartak Moscow have confirmed that they have paid Roma an initial €3m for striker Ezequiel Ponce.
Ponce completed a transfer to Spartak on Thursday, but there had been conflicting reports about how much Roma would receive.
To clear up the confusion, the Russian club have since announced that they have paid €3m up front for the 22-year-old, with €3m to follow in bonuses and a 20 percent sell-on entitlement to the Giallorossi.

Consequently, the deal has little impact on Roma’s outstanding capital gains of €45m, which are due by June 30.
