Milan are reportedly preparing a bid of somewhere between €35m-€40m for Lucas Torreira, but Arsenal are holding out for €50m.
According to Tuttosport, Milan owners Elliot Management are prepared to spend between €35m-€40m for the Uruguayan and reunite him with his former Sampdoria Coach Marco Giampaolo, who has taken over from Gennaro Gattuso at San Siro.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Premier League side want at least €50m for the player they spent €30m on last summer.
The 23-year-old played 50 times for the London club this season, scoring twice and providing two assists, and was instrumental in the Gunners run to the Europa League Final, where they lost to local rivals Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport also reports that the Rossoneri would offer a similar amount for Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos, who is currently on international duty with the Spanish U21 squad in the European Championships.
If it’s a choice between the two at the same figures, then Giampaolo would prefer Torreira.
