Napoli midfielder Allan hopes James Rodriguez joins him at the Stadio San Paolo, but Maurizio Sarri is “just an opponent” now at Juventus.
The 28-year-old is currently with Brazil at the Copa America and has been subject to transfer rumours about a possible switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
He is joined in that tournament by Colombia international attacking midfielder James Rodriguez, who is reportedly on the verge of joining the Azzurri.
“James is a very good footballer if he arrives everyone at Napoli will be happy,” Allan told TuttoMercatoWeb.
Meanwhile, Allan’s former Coach Sarri has taken over the dugout at the Allianz Juventus Stadium, and the tough-tackling midfielder explained his thoughts.
“I’ve no reaction to the news that Sarri has joined Juventus, it was his choice and we must respect it. We are Napoli, he will now be our opponent and we will do our best to beat him.”
