Napoli could reportedly finalise a deal for Roma defender Kostas Manolas on Wednesday, as they are willing to pay his €36m release clause.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolò Schira, the Azzurri are prepared to pay the €36m release clause for the Greece international.
They have already reportedly agreed personal terms with Manolas, offering him a five-year contract worth €4m a season.
The reporter claims that Wednesday could be decisive to conclude the deal, which would see the Juventus and Milan transfer target form a formidable partnership with Kalidou Koulibaly.
The 28-year-old joined the Giallorossi from Olympiakos in 2014 for €15m and has scored eight times in 206 games during his spell at the Stadio Olimpico.
