Daniele De Rossi has decided against going to Boca Juniors or MLS, claim Sky Sport Italia, as he’ll accept a Serie A move against his beloved Roma.
The midfielder wanted to continue where he spent his entire career, with his hometown club, but was not offered a new contract.
He turns 36 next month and will be a free agent, so there were suggestions he’d take on a new adventure at Boca Juniors, LAFC or the LA Galaxy.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, De Rossi decided over the last few days on his vacation that he wants to continue playing in Serie A.
This’ll mean facing his beloved Roma, but understandably he feels that it’s not a betrayal because the club turned him away already.
He will consider not the economic situation, but whatever project he finds convincing and above all interesting.
