Kalidou Koulibaly ‘thinks’ he will stay at Napoli but refused to completely commit himself to the club. “We’ll see what happens...”
Roma’s Kostas Manolas is seen as more of a potential centre-back partner than replacement for Koulibaly, although the Senegalese was recently the subject of a mega bid from Manchester City.
“I don’t know, I think so but I have to play the AFCON and then after that I’ll go back to Napoli,” he told Goal.com after his country’s 2-0 win against Tanzania at the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday evening.
“Everyone’s speaking about me, but I’m only speaking about Senegal, because that’s my objective today and I want to achieve something big with Senegal.
“Senegal achieved something great today. I am 200 percent with Senegal and 200% with the 15 million Senegalese people.
“I’m relaxed, I want to focus on the Afcon and after that return to Napoli and we’ll see what happens.
“The most important thing now is to win with Senegal.”
